What a beautiful morning to worship God as a Family of Friends!
210 gathered this morning to praise God in the midst of a heartbreaking situation. Our church has shown great hope through it all, and we trust God to guide us as we look to the future.
We thank God, first of all, for His faithfulness and presence in this time.
Pastor Don preached from Joshua, chapter 1 and encouraged us to continue in our pursuit of Christ, even through hardship.
We were blessed by community volunteers who brought our children Capri Suns and juice.
We also heard from Mark Boyd (Frisco Baptist Association), and Mark Jennings (County Commissioner and church member) concerning our church's situation and next steps.
It was a blessing to have Bob and Brenda O'Neill (former interim pastor at TBC) and Sam Porter (Oklahoma Disaster Relief) join us this morning, as well as many others who mean so much to us.
Our service concluded with a heartfelt time of prayer. We have been blessed to hear about the many, many prayers being offered up for our community from across the nation. Please continue to keep McCurtain County in your prayers as many are dealing with catastrophic loss. God bless you all.
